About Us
The ApplyingToCollege (A2C) website is entirely managed and maintained by the A2C Discord's staff since its launch in 2021. In addition to our Discord community, we also have an affiliated subreddit.
Our intention is to provide free and accessible resources designed to support those who are navigating through the upcoming application cycles. Through our Discord and website, our hope is to bridge the gap in the college admissions world for all applicants.
The first iteration of our College Decision Dates Calendar came about in early 2020, where a Google Sheet was created to track decision releases during the 2019-2020 application cycle. The same format was used again for the 2020-2021 cycle, before we moved to a simple website format during the fall of 2021. Our team redesigned the website in 2023, providing a larger space for us to create additional resources such as our College Application FAQ As our website and community grows, we renovated to our current format that you see right now!
